Terramycin for Ducks?

So I posted on here a few days ago that some type of predator was getting into our coop and killing the chickens. It tried attacking one of our ducks and now his eye looks infected. I bought terramycin and applied it around his infected eye earlier because everyone said it was fine to use but now I read somewhere that it's toxic to ducks! Is it toxic to them? And if it is or isn't is there anything I can do?

Do you have a picture of the eye?

Terramycin (oxytetracycline) is safe for use in waterfowl.
