Well isn't that depressing, I was sold blue hatching eggs and were told they were pure blood. oh well, maybe next time lol. Not breeding them anyways, tough when you trust someone and invest the time to incubate the eggs with a surrogate hen. They have not start laying yet. I have attached their 'breeding stock'View attachment 2986673

Parent stock could be pure but once mixed they are considered easter eggers. I gotten from a breeder and male only had one copy of the blue egg gene that was depressing ended up culling him. Which is why i dont trust breeders most lie just to make a sale

I just wanted to share my two boys because I just love them and like sharing pictures haha. I thought sure they would have super bad shredded feathers but they look pretty perfect to me not show quality by any means, but they are just the best boys!! I’m getting them some ladies this spring from an Ameraucana Breeder Association member, guaranteed girls

Thanks! I just love them and think they are such sweet and handsome boys! puff is the head boy and has started hanging out in the nest boxes with the ladies…he’s a very gentlemanly rooster!
