The salmon Faverolles is 100% a pullet

I LOVE Ameraucanas! They are one of my favorite breeds.
I especially like the light brown ones with the golden and black neckfeathers! I used to have one. (What color variation is it? I never knew what it was called)

There's wheaten Ameraucanas, but they don't have black in their neck feathers. They're a light golden color (not buff). Was it perhaps an easter egger that you had? I do know there's ones that have golden and black neck feathers.

Help, this chook has me stumped. Almost 21 weeks, same age as the Fav. It has not crowed but does the chicken song often.

Yeah on the blue Ams, the cockerels get those darker wing colors like yours has...this evenness is what you look for in the blue pullets. Your Fav is a girl so that’s happy!! I’m sorry your pullets didn’t come out as all pullets!

Do you mean this, it's not Ameraucana color but alot of EEs have it

Did you get it from McMurray? I seen that they had a picture of a EE with the label Ameraucana

Yeah the hatcheries call them Americanas…usually…note the spelling. Some don’t even bother with the different spelling. Still super awesome birds though!!
