Man, wish my hatching had gone as well as ManitobaQuail's. When all was said and done, out of 28 eggs, I had 8 hatch, 14 infertile, and 6 with only partial development. Of the 8 that hatched, I assisted with three because they got shrinkwrapped. Two of those are walking on their hocks, but with movement and vit. B supplements, seem to be improving. Here are five of the eight.
The youngest never really got "fluffy". Looks like it didn't grow all of its down in completely. Anyone run into this before? Did the chick grow normal feathers in as it aged? Here is how it looks now.
I have written a few posts about my hatching adventure on my blog. More pics there as well, if folks are interested: Flora, Feathers, and Fibro.
