I have 2 Chinese geese, a month old. Unsexed. I'm noticing a weird lump on both of their necks on the same side. It's weird.. all the Chinese goose pictures show a very thin graceful neck and my two geese appear to have a knob on the same side that renders their necks quite thick.. Is this normal? Pictures attached. Deferring to your guys' goose eggspertise. Thank you so much.

Ps: they're only in this bin for feeding time until their home is built next week.

Looks like their crop, and given that this was posted at night, that would further support the claim. Did it go down in the morning?
It did a little actually. Now it's this way again. Is this normal? They recently have started staying outside in the run during the day instead of their brooder most of the day. Is this ok for them given now they're eating mostly things they find outside?

Yes, it's normal. It feels like a bean bag kind of, right? It's their crop, food collects in it throughout the day, and they expel the food overnight, so the crop should be empty in the morning.
