Is Ginger a roo?

Hi. I'm new around here. I fell in chickenlove when my DS brought these two home from school in May. They are about 18 weeks old. The white one (Magic Marker Head) has been crowing - loudly - for about a month now and I've accepted that he's a rooster. The brown one (Ginger), seems to be trying to crow. I definitely can't have roosters in my neighborhood and my neighbors have been patient.

(In the meantime, we have 6 three day old baby girl chicks that just came from My Pet Chicken - I'll introduce them later.)

So here are Ginger and Magic Marker Head. Can you tell if Ginger (brown one) is a rooster?

Oh, and how do I make that little yellow chicken show up next to my post?

I'm going to have to disagree here. I say they are both roosters. I see sickle and hackle feathers galore! Ginger got roo looking wings too.

The feathers are pointier and plentier in real life than they are in the pix. I think I am coming to terms. I have someone willing to take them on Tuesday and want to be absolutely sure. Ginger is becoming more beautiful by the day - rust and yellow and black and orange and brown - blending with our fall foliage. Oh, well, sigh. Thank you for your help!
