Well, it was a nerve wracking, back and forth game. Entered the ninth inning tied at 5/5. They (the opponents) scored 2 runs in the top of the 9th, and grandson's team was unable to answer so they lost 7/5. It's a double elimination tournament so they are still playing. Beautiful day for a ball game - light breeze with temperature in the mid 70's.

Did you used to make May Day baskets when you were a kid? We had so much fun making them, then putting them on someone's door and running off. Wonder if anyone does that any more?

I seem to remember that from school. They are doing it in Kindergarten today but they get to keep them. They had a big tote of candy that they all donated to.
