The mostly black roo died when we had a cold snap. Look like one poult unfortunately. I also not like that they lost their middle toe feathering and that the boys are already showing leakage.

Those feathers are called called vulture hocks. D’Uccles are supposed to have them. There a multiple breeds that have been bred to have them but they are not supposed to, like Silkies.They are so cute. I didn't know that the d'uccles not only have the feathered feet, but wing like feathers at the elbow. Mine are at 2 months. 2 roos and 2 pullets in milles, 2 roos 1 pulled in porcelain. As long as no issues, keeping all these guys.
