Just stumbled onto this article today and want to say how lucky I feel be part of the Granny family. Newcomers here never are out of place when Granny welcomes you in!
I learned some things reading this...Granny is much younger than me!? Born in Kentucky where my mother was born and raised. Her name is Pamela.
What I already knew: she has a wicked sense of humor, draws people to her and keeps them close. Loyal good friend!

Arie, Perry county . Went to school in Breathitt I might be spelling that wrong. Jackson co. I lived in a remade chicken coop. LOL
