I broke my goose egg on day 20 of incubation and I accidentally dropped an egg while standing, it was devastating because there was a huge crack down the middle and a few dents. Is it fixable? This is my first time hatching eggs and I wanted to hatch chicken eggs as well but all of the eggs membranes broke and smelled rotten a few days afterwards so I threw them out.

I recently found a cracked egg under a hen. Brought it inside and used paper medical tape. It survived until day 19. But I think it was more my fault. I didn’t turn it often enough and the CAM didn’t spread throughout the egg.

I tried wax once, but found that it just melted and blocks all the pores. If the wax comes off of yours, maybe try the medical tape.

The day I noticed it had quit. :(

The pictures can't capture anything inside the egg but it did not quit!! I tried the water test and it moved a lot!! The eggs are due the day after tomorrow if they hatch in 28 days. The wax did not melt and I'm praying it will internal pip soon.
A concerning thing is that it seems to have lost too much moisture since the air cell is pretty huge.
