I was trying to search for some answers on how to feed chickens "brood comb", but as. 'Brood' and 'comb' are already chicken related words the search engines are getting all mixed up.

A friend of ours keeps bees, we keep chickens, and we try to symbiotically benefit each other as much as possible. She recently gifted us with some 'brood comb' from one of her hives. It's supposedly insanely good for chickens, but we're not sure of we should give them all of it at once or not.

Any one else feed their chickens honey comb or brood comb?

We had bees for a few years and after draining the honey, we'd give our chickens parts of the comb, just broke off hunks and tossed it out in the yard. I'd leave the rest in a dish in the kitchen and every few days, do that again until it was gone.

I think it's fine within reason. It's sugar, which chickens shouldn't have, yet it's very healthy all the same, thus, all in good measure.
