J clips or hog rings for building a cattle panel hoop house coop?

When the ENORMOUS amount of snow finally melts and I am able to see my yard I am going to build a cattle panel hoop house for my chicken run. I have used tsc J-clips to build rabbit cages MANY years ago and thought that might work for the cattle panels. I don't know if they are big enough to do the job and wondered whether or not hog rings would be a better choice?

Go with the hog rings. I've used J-clips for brooders and some other things, but they are not big enough to fit the cattle panels I use to cage my tomatoes. Another option which is probably not as easy as the hog rings is to weave the panels together with wire.
