Don't do that....Really don't ..I truly think this has moved to a joint so all caution needs to be taken....not fun for the Duck or you....

the swelling could be due to compensation, and may lessen as the bumble/pain goes awayAlso I hate to cut it open due to the swelling being rather separate from the bumble. I'm scarred to do "surgery".
warmer is better, and it should be for about 20 minutes or so, the longer/warmer the betterI sure will. I've been doing Epsom salt compress so she can't drink it. Thank you so much!
I just actually took a course again..This time on treating Bumble because I take in rescues...Yikes...It was intense and sad..Less sometimes is more and ankle joints become infected to the point of Culling...Its extremely painful for the Duck anyway you look at it...the swelling could be due to compensation, and may lessen as the bumble/pain goes away
i do not push people to cut! less invasive is better
I'm going to do the clear iodine.Don't do that....Really don't ..I truly think this has moved to a joint so all caution needs to be taken....not fun for the Duck or you....
How often do I apply the iodine? Every 3 days? Do I still do es compress ea day? Then when it scabs do I squeeze the infection out or.....? Thank you again for your advice!!Separate her to a dog crate or small pen...Lots of people wrap the foot although lots keep them on clean bedding without wrap..Anyways the clear iodine yes is put on the bumble scab...It draws up the infection and then as it scabs you soak the foot in Epsom salt and slowly remove the infection..Others are do harsh treatment and dig into the foot to pull out the core of infection...Yikes...
