Grazing Frames

Despite its shortness everything that needs to be known about grazing frames is included in this article. Nice supporting pictures!

The top one appears to be about 2' x 3' or 4'. It would be helpful to know the dimensions. Presumably that relates to why you like it most, such as ease of handling?

Size was arbitrary, used scrap lumber I had lying around.
Make it fit your scenario, tho I do like the long skinny ones better for ease of moving.

I did explain why I liked the top one better.
"I like the one at the top best and am converting the others over.
Ripped a half inch off the 2x4's and used it to cover mesh edges to avoid cut feet and the possible subsequent infection (bumblefoot)."

Also explained, right at the top, why the article was " a shorty" ;) It wasn't meant to be a step by step build tutorial.
I love the idea of grazing frames! I would have liked more details about what hardware you used and what size frames you built. You said you like the top frame better. How come? What is different about it? Did you find that one size frame worked better than another? Did one size hold up better than the others?
I'm sure some people will be able to replicate your frames from what you provided, but unfortunately, I need more details!

I've been wanting to do some sort of gardening for my flock. This is exactly what I need. Thank you!
