    Can you freeze jelly beans?

All I know is that once they are frozen they are hard to chew unless you thaw them out first. Broke my upper plate trying.to chew them.

BLRW pullets...but I think one is a roo

The one on the left in the top picture and on the right in the bottom pic seems to have a lot of comb. If I had to guess I'd say rooster.

Layers for how long? Molting questions too

One of the most prolific layer is the Khaki Campbell. I don't believe they outlay the 300 hybrids, but they are a very good general purpose duck and average 250 or so eggs per hen per year. I don't have any old enough to be laying yet as I acquired eggs for hatching this spring. I got them...

    Mahonri's 3rd Annual, BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

I've had 29 hatch so far today. No idea which one was first. I was busy putting cold weather plants into the garden and starting the seeds in the greenhouse for my mid-May frost free plantings.Just checked the incubator about 8:45 PM. Moved them to two toats in the kitchen. More later I hope.

Go to the FORUM tab at the top of the page. place your cursor on the tab and a drop down menu will appear, the last item is "Buy - Sell - Trade". Click on it and the BST listings will appear on a new page. Be careful though that page is infected with chicken math also. I bought 6 or 8 dozen...

Comment by 'berniezahm' in article 'Interesting Facts About Chicken Eggs'

Interesting information. However the blue eggs laid by Araucanas have the color in the shell material. Unlike other chicken eggs that are white on the inside they are blue on the inside also.

think they will hold around 280 chicken eggs all total. I have three 3' X 4' and one 4' X 4' brooder boxes in the barn. If had enoough eggs to load them all at the same time, any thing over a 70% hatch rate would cause me to have to build another brooder. Wouldn't that be a shame.
