Hi all - I am incubating 12 of my own eggs, and 24 purchased eggs. My 12 are Orpingtons from 2 different roosters, and of the 24 I bought, 12 are Orpington cuckoos and 12 are Copper Marans. At this point I can completely see the eggs that are viable. Movement and everything (very exciting).

I know eh? That one bird he brings home and a) tells me it's a "rescue" (Bird:1 Victoria:0) and b) then says casually - "We could eat him tomorrow" (Bird:2 Victoria:0). Suddenly we have a flock. LOL
That is a nice area. And yes, we are a hop skip and jump from each other. I zip through your village whenever I go to Wilton Tack and take the back roads.
