Have had 2 roosters and 5 hens in mine often. They have other choices but they really love that little coop.

Well talk about bad luck. I ordered eggs and of the 5 that hatched all 5 were roosters. lol

I fed mine black seed sunflowers mixed in with the feed and my chickens always ate the sunflowers first. However when my daughters family ate the eggs they said that they did not like the taste. Anyone else have this problem?

Ordered from them yesterday. I liked the detailed information on the different type chickens. Will get them in a couple of weeks. so we shall see.

I don't live in Calif anymore but I have at three different times over a span of about 19 years. Northern Calif to me is by far the prettiest and most friendly. However the desert along the Colorado had its charm too. That was then not sure how it is now.

Guess you can tell by my "name" I am from Florida. That is North Florida to you. Believe me there are more than one Florida's. In reality there are South and Central and North. All with different ways of life and attitudes. North Florida is country folk even around our cities.

I got them from an individual from Ebay. Their hatch mother Millie went broody so I quickly ordered them and Millie was a wonderful mother.

I live in Lake City which is close to Live Oak and I don't know of any wishing hoping it is so but I dunno I think not.

I think I will try them. Is it true that the hens are good setters? I had 2 good egg purchases from online sellers. Got 5 hens out of 5 eggs which I put under a setting hen on the 1st purchase. On the 2nd purchaseit was not the sellers fault getting 5 roos, and getting such a bad hatch...
