After looking at yours - I think I might get that kit too but make the whole thing the coop by leaving the nesting box area, and taking out the middle pop door. I need an extra coop for a trio I want to put together this spring.

I got my first egg today from one of my silkie easter eggers! I love these guys! I'll try to get some pictures of them soon, but here's their first egg. 🥰 The girls are all very easy going and sweet and curious. The roo, Mr. Fluffles, is adorable but a little extra dumb haha. Overall 10/10...

We shall see :fl I ordered 3 pullets and a roo. I'll be thrilled if they all look like big silkies and all lay blue, but I'll settle for just looking like big fluffy silkies. It looks like they're a bit cheaper this year. I hope that means they're breeding truer. I have chickens just for fun...

I do! I have 3 separate flocks - Spitzhaubens, Olandsk Dwarfs, and Shetland hens. And trying to stop myself from adding Silkie easter eggers. 🐣

He's gorgeous 😍 Appenzellers are my favorites, they're so beautiful and smart and friendly. And great layers! One of my Appenzeller girls is named Honk haha. Must be a breed characteristic.
