    Aylesbury Duck (hatchery)?

www.strombergschickens.com out of pine river, MN carries them. Go to the bottom of their webpage and click on ducklings. There you will find the aylesbury and lots of other breeds. They are out of season right now but I would try again the beginning of 2013.

You're right! The eggs ARE the best. Especially the double yolkers. I have never had a more tasty egg. Until now, my 5 year old didn't like eggs. She just now started eating them only becuase she knows that her ducks "Mattie" and "Molly", make them for her :) They are great. I just wish they...

I bought my welsh for her sheer beauty but recently read that they are on the critically endangered list. This duck provides hours of enjoyment. Not to mention she keeps the weeds and bugs in my garden and around my house, at bay. She is also a prolific egg layer. Definitely a species we need...

Pekins are the epitomy of what you think of when you think duck. They are cute fuzzy yellow peeps when little and grow into a waddling, chattering, funny, beautifully white feathered ducks with bright orange bills/feet. Because they are mostly bred for food, they get enormous in a short time...

Granted I am fairly new at this and they are still not fully grown (about 9 weeks old), but they are so friendly. they perch on my finger. they are extremely curious and will come right up to you when you open the door to...

Really???? Funny thing is that this was 1 of 3 "peeps" I got from the same batch. Two of them were roosters. They all had the typical rooster tail, which this one does not, they all had the typical large red lobes and all crowed and this one does not! The other two roosters would acutally...

    Ducks

You won't be sorry. They are in the critically endangered list so you are doing them a great favor. I have them and am adding more to my flock next year. She is a sweetie. Enjoy.

    Am I the only one?

I am a first timer with chickens. I raise ducks and rabbits so this was a new venture. I bought four of the cutest black peeps I had ever seen @ our local farm exchange and just identified them on BYC. Apparently they are black sex links and I was kind of surprised on the comments I viewed...
