    My 5 Week old Roo was attacked by a cat and has a puncture/scrape wound on his neck... it's not super large, but is there anything I can do at home to clean and help it from getting infected? I've heard that I can use Neosporen on a chicken... has anyone heard this? Thanks!

    My chicks are eating fabric scraps

    my chicks are eating the teeny scraps of fabric and thread from the floor... will this hurt them? I try to get it away from them whenever possible, but they seem to want to eat everything! they are a week old today...

    they are actually consuming them... these pieces of fabric I'm sure look like little worms.. they are about 1/8 of an inch by maybe 1.5" in length...small pieces... they are just so dang fast!

    Speedy's chicks are doing great!

    All of Speedy's chickies are great... there was only one egg that didn't hatch, and since I had to assist #2 egg (it was in the wrong position) I'm thinking that's probably what happened to #1. :-( I have four beautiful babies though. #2 hatch is just like her mama...it likes to be the center...
