    There should be wild Asters in your area. I have them here. Light blue and white. Not sure of the species. A common weed here.

    That is why I waited until I was near them so I could go in person. At home I am close enough to Hillco but they do not carry the metal frame rests I wanted.

    I am at the MN cabin and near Mann Lake bee supply. Stopped in and bought the metal 9 frame rests to install. I want thicker comb in the supers to make uncapping easier.

    Had a hive swarm. Moved into a dead out. Might be 2 swarms as another dead out had a lot of activity. I will check when it is not raining.

    Returned from the cabin to find a swarm in one of my traps. I will move them tonight and put them in a 10 frame tomorrow. They may have been in there 2 weeks +.

    I have been seeing scouting activity at my 3 swarm traps for about a week now, Today I peeked in them today and one had more bees than the others. I think a choice may have been made.

    Heard from Ralphie and the story continues. He put in a marked queen in both hives 2 weeks ago. Checked on them today and one hive has a unmarked queen. Wrong color even. No new eggs or brood. Just a few drone cells capped in regular comb.
