    Hi. I'm sorry I've been absent. Life and losses got in the way. I am here and after losing most of my flock to hawks, I have a new large coop and run and new spring chicks including 1 silkie a adopted yesterday and trying to tame down. I've been wanting a silkie for years!

    She's doing a bit better but sometimes seems so lost. She doesn't have a close relationship with my other roo Lucy who has taken over the flock. She gets extra attention from me though. ❤

    I lost my sweet old rooster Goose the day after Christmas. He had been showing signs of slowing down since early December. He chose to be with me mostly and his wife Noodle was always with him. I painted these 2 canvases that hang together to immortalize their love. Acrylics on canvas.
