    Depluming mites return soon?

No other evidence of mites. I know depluming mites burrow under skin and live in feather shafts.

    Depluming mites return soon?

I have read so many threads on this subject. No vets here will see chickens. Do you do a full clean out of coop? I already did that in late February with Elector PSP. I. no longer have that (psp). All signs point to depluming mites.

    Depluming mites return soon?

Back in late February/early March I treated entire flock with Ivermectin. 2nd dose 10 days apart. Found new patches on 3 different hens. Skin is crusty and two others skin is red. I have a flock of 21. Can they return this quickly or is it that the Ivermectin did not eradicate the mites...

Coop clean out was done and treated with elector PSP. I am wondering if I put Permithryn powder in the run since they dust bath in the run would it still be harmful for my indoor cats when I come back to the house? We haven't seen any evidence of feather picking. Just to themselves on their...

Depluming mites dying-Can they take feathers with it? or is it molt?

    Ivermectrin-depluming mites?

What type of Ivermectrin is best for depluming mites? I have elector PSP coming this Friday but others are saying that will not work. If Ivermectrin is better then which one (pour on or injectable which can be applied topically). I am concerned about using Ivermectrin as there is a 7 day egg...

    Bumblefoot--Tricide-neo QQ

Thank you for this!! Do you wrap the feet after? One of her foot I noticed today her skin is cut and flapping. I am sure its due to using the drawing salve. Probably should wrap that foot afterwards. The one with no cuts I can leave wrap off.

    Bumblefoot--Tricide-neo QQ

Yep I saw the #2 post. Very helpful. My QQ is what is the point of using this if we still have to get the scab off and remove puss according to Kiki above? I know we can do twice on Saturday and Sunday. How did you dipsose of the water/tricide neo? I am thinking of cat litter (cheap one).

    Bumblefoot--Tricide-neo QQ

My hen (Brahma) has bumblefoot. I have tried Lisa Steel's drawing salve which reduced the pink. I felt that is not enough. Her bumblefoot is very squishy not hard at all and I do not feel any kernal. She has the classic bumble in one foot and then other foot looks like an injury (punctured)...

Introducing a Polish Chicken to an Existing Flock w Rooster?

My rooster is bullying her to the point we had to seperate her for her own safety until further notice. We are working on evaluating on what to do as we do want to keep her and she has grown attached to us since we spent a lot of time with her when she was sick with wry neck. Even though she...
