I ave not done my homework here.. so go ahead and kick me before I even speak.. but.. I thought kids were not born with CAE, I thought it was transferred via mothers nursing-milk.. which is why you remove the kid immediatly and feed from a clean mother. no???? (girls (6) received their shots...

This is Foot Rot (goat), right?

This is going to be an ongoing debate, probably forever. Every now and then, we just have to stop reading, put it all down, digest what we have read, and come to our own heart and head conclusions. There is another interesting thread I read over at Goatworld...

A little over a month ago we inherited 8 angoras with 32 hooves that all looked like that and some worse. The buck and wether were down and a few of the girls were pretty bad off. 2009 Kankakee IL Bird Swap dates

Steph, you are right to like the trio.. they are the nicest birds I have.. they love each other, just feed them and pet on occasion.. they want for nothing, they are just happy with each other, and it shows! We will be in a blue ford explorer sport-trac, we know where we "want" to park, not...

    Homemade 'top' for handing feeders?

I rolled up one of my old scratched up "disposable" plastic/flexible cutting boards (3 to a package) into a cone shape & stapled it. That way they can't even land on it.. I left a center hole just big enough to lower over the center stake and can still hang the feeder if I choose.
