How to make “Start a New Thread” easier?

It seems very difficult for newer people to this site to find out how to start a new thread, especially on the emergency forum. They tend to find old threads and hijack them, which confuses things. Is there any way to add the blue box “start a new thread” to the current page where the box “reply...

Pictures in threads are disappearing today

Many pictures that have been added to threads today and yesterday have disappeared today, so it's very difficult to help people with their problems. They were there this morning, but gone now. Others are also complaining about this. Thanks, Kim

Procaine penicillin G orally instead of a shot

I was just wondering if anyone had ever tried to give procaine penicillin G by mouth instead of intramuscularly (as a shot?) Drugs like Tylan injectable are sometimes used orally so I wondered if anyone has tried this. I know you can use oral penicillin, but if you can only get the injectable...

Accidently fed moldy scratch to chicks

I have 18 and 20 week old chickens that today got a scoop of moldy scratch. The scratch was in a galvanized can, and I didn't realize it was getting moldy until after 37 chickens had started diving all over to eat it. Will they get sick? I've read where moldy feed can kill, so I'm pretty nervous.
