They truly are and their natural instincts! My 2 eggs are right next to each other every morning. So planned, or someone is moving them together. I don't have a camera in the duck house, but the more and more we go along I want to add one. Just to watch their shenanigans...it's already...
When mine first started laying last month, I would get an egg later mid morning about half the time. But they seem to have their kinks worked out because it is every morning from both by 730. Maybe you might be surprised later today.

Yes bloom, thank you! I knew I had read that word somewhere on here! That's a good option with the food coloring. Today would be a good day to do that since it's so cold, they are avoiding the water. I will put some on them tonight!
I finally got 2 this morning!! One looks a little darker, feels slimy and had a little red, I think blood spot on the outside. Could this be a new layer? I only have 2 girls. The eggs were varying in the overall shape, so I thought maybe both were laying but just every other day or so. But now...
Me too!! Still getting one everyday. Yesterday it was there bright and early for me when I let them out at 7:15 ish, mine wasn't warm but it was nice and clean. So I don't think it was there long.

2-girls around 6 months. I think they have chosen to take turns laying. I've gotten one egg every day (15 eggs total). Not sure but one is an early morning layer, an egg every other day when I let them out at 7:30, the other off days there is one in there by lunch time ...but no idea who...
