Good day everyone! Hope your all doing well. 😊 Just wanted to show you guys some updated pictures of the chicks from Jan. 8th. They both grew quickly in just a month. Here are shots from today of the first one to hatch.

Indeed they were Bob. Just like lobster, in a shrimp’s body. However, the smell of the Crawfish themselves did throw me off at first. 😅

@WhoDatChick, Guess what I finally found at the market! Crawfish! :wee We’re gonna cook em tonight, and I’m see how I like them. (I’ll get some pictures of the little guys).

I just have to share! We have a new addition to the PNW flock. A cute black and white, single-combed, grey legs with feathered feet, angel! I believe one of the mothers was one of our dominate copper marans.

Oh yeah. Our hens love just about anything edible. Thank you. However, we all enjoyed the snow this winter! (Even though my toes came close frozen. :lau )
