    You may have to keep it wrapped forever just because it may stay opened with him walking on it. I really don't know but Just thinking out loud. That is great your dogs are tolerant. Mine are too as long as we don't have babies.

    I've never heard of ducks getting frost bite on their bills, Not saying it couldn't happen though just not sure. Keep a close eye on their bills. @Ravynscroft

    I started out that way but mine were drakes that were living in our Mt river down below us. The last of my first drakes was 1 month shy of 12 yrs old when he passed away last winter. I love my scovys

    Same as Texas I have a friend there who has Muscovy's and hers lay and brood year round whew I am so glad mine take a break. Gives me a break too :)
