Odd thing is, he only targeted my Malay hens. No other breed has been killed. 2, Malay hens left after a hen, & a pullet got squished.

Only if the rooster is rough. I no longer have a Brahma/Silkie. He was the rooster that I made for starting the project. He matured pretty quickly actually. Started breeding between 3-4 months instead of the average 5-6.

Yes, but my only Malay hen that was laying was killed by my dad's Turkey tom, recently. Now I gotta wait longer before continuing the project Giant Silkies. Got 2 hens I'm waiting on to start laying, but I may have to cross Malay rooster over Silkie hen, instead.

My dad ordered me a large chicken tractor, which is something that I'd never thought he'd do. Usually I'm the only one getting chicken stuff.

It's good sized yes. I could always add on to it, if needed.

Just debating whether I want it strictly for my OEGBs, or somehow divide it into a breeding coop.

We have a creek, that runs through our property. Occasionally we get fish swimming through. Mosquitoes are pretty bad here too.

We have a swamp, in our woods. Dad's replacing the old deer blind, so I can have it, & turn it into a coop.

Our 10 acres are split, half woods, & half not.

I'll have to see here, once some land is available.

We want to add acreage, but I doubt anyone will let us get some of their land though.

40 acres is alot, so plenty of space to roam. We only have 10 acres.
