Cooked some chicken thigh meat that was marinated in soy sauce and seasonings for a few days, then cooked bell peppers and cabbage in the skillet after the chicken was done. Kind of like stir fry, I guess.
It was pretty good! Some scoops of beer bread underneath the hamburger slop, and some on top. Taco seasoning, onion powder and red pepper flakes in the slop, paprika on top of the whole thing before it hit the 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.
I'm cooking some ground beef now. I added a bunch of frozen tomatoes from last year's garden and will flavor it up with taco seasoning.
Then it'll go into the oven in a Pyrex baking dish with dollops of beer bread dough on top. Pics to follow...
