Noob question.. do the Cortunix roos crow a lot when they are just in their own with their own little flock of hens?
My male does not.
He rarely ever makes noise.
Seriously I hear him maybe once or twice a week.
 
ok not to get too off-topic here but since we are on the subject of meat and differences etc....hubby is thinking of cooking the silkies tomorrow....he is a little freaked out by the black skin and bones, but has anyone here eaten a silkie to tell me what to expect as far as difference in taste?
