How high of a temp would be considered a deadly spike?

A temp of 104°F or above for an hour, will kill the embryos. As the internal temp rises slowly, it also decreases slowly. Short 'spikes' usually won't harm the embryos, 10 minutes or less but anything longer and the chances go up exponentially!
