How much space per button quail is needed?

Despite their small size, they still need at least one square foot per bird. They are a lot flightier than coturnix.

the other 11 eggs feel light and i dont hear anything. I've left them in the incubator for another day, just in case

I find that it's better to put the eggs as close together as possible. That way you can put your calibrated thermometer right next to them and have a better chance of keeping the temp stable for that spot.

You are aware that you cannot put these button quail in with your other quail right?
