So I've been told! I do enjoy the lakeside, but I've never been one for warmth, sun, or salt. I prefer the freshness of the Great Lakes, and the cool shadows in the valleys where I live.

You know you are getting close to the ocean, because you can smell the salt water in the air!

Level 11 solar storm!!! What a beautiful world God created. I haven't seen any northern lights since I was four or five, and it was nowhere near as vibrant. In 2003, a solar storm of the same level wrecked several power grid functions in Africa. :O

We could see the northern lights if we took a picture of the sky. But they definitely werent as vibrant

I had heard that folks were able to see through a picture, but not with a naked eye. We could see them very well! We were very fortunate.

Ill get some pictures later they are on my moms phone. I only stayed up to see the beginning and wish i would have stayed up later
