Another Freebie Not Sure Of Breed!

Meet NIGEL! He is sooooo cute! I think its a roo, but not 100%. Fixing his leg also so dont mind the thing around his legs. Same age as my other chick, but a whole lot less feather growth, and apparently that means roo...maybe? Any guesses on breed or gender already? Very chill bird! I was thinking maybe brahma/barred rock?

Yeah super cute chick, almost looks like a darker version of a lavender Orp, but too light to be a blue Orp.

No he does not, but I didn't think americaunas had feathers on their legs. Am i wrong?

What hatchery?

Could be a light blue Orp but wouldn't be barred.

I'm not sure if any hatcheries carry cuckoo Orps.

Also yellow feet are wrong for an Orp and of course an Orp wouldn't have feathered legs.

I'm thinking possibly an olive egger but I'm not sure.

Definitely not a pure Ameraucana. Wrong color/feathered legs and no beard.

This bird has feathered legs. Depending on which hatchery it’s from it may be a Blue Cuckoo Marans.

No hatchery. A friend bought some eggs from a friend and he had a bad leg, so i said i'll take him and well here he is. They have literally a thousand chickens free ranging, so we can't even narrow it done to like 50 possible breeds. I would love an orp, but ya the feather leg thing really through me through a loop. Thats why I was thinking a brahma maybe.

No hatchery...some free range organic chicken farmer chick
