At what age do a tom start to gobble?????

We have had 19 birds of different ages together. The younger ones with their mom were separated from the others by a wire fence. They started to fluff up and gobble around 2 months. It was hilarious. Strutting around like they were dominant and scary. They walked along the fence challenging our2-year-old Tom and the younger Jakes who at 3 months were all gobbling as well. That being said I have one male who is not as dominant and he (5 months old) only gobbles when the others are really scared or stressed.
