Peeked at the camera and at least 2 more out. The other 2 sections are hard to see, but those weren't pipped when I left or just pipped.

Day 20. 8 babies, 2 more pipped and 2 left to pip.

5 CCL have hatched. Think 3 girls and 2 boys.

Up to 5 chicks now. I can't take a photo because they are in my hex which impossible to see clearly into, but I have made a note of what's hatched from which egg.

For those that have paid attention over the past 2 years........ I FINALLY hatched some that SHOULD lay colors!!! LOL now to see if they really lay what they should. LMAO!

so far 11 have hatched out of 12 that went into lockdown. The last CCL has a pip and its beak is sticking out, it is the wrong end. But the beak looks slightly crossbeak....... now is it or maybe something just making it look that way? But worries me with it hatching looking that way since I hatched one in my last hatch and it didn't even show up at all till a few days old and has progressively been getting worse as each day goes on so can only imagine how bad it is if it is present coming out of the egg.... So that one I am letting do it's thing as hard as it is and figure if it can't hatch there is a reason.

But I hatched 6/8 CCL eggs that went in!!!!!!! FINALLY! had 12 others last hatch and every one of them that started quit between days 5-7 so was thinking I did something wrong at first till I put the last 4 in later and they all quit at the same time as well.

Then hatched 3/3 from one of my girls.

Then my normal seller I only hatched 3 from her. 2 blue eggs (think one is an opal legbar/splash cochin mix. it is SILVER. LOL) and one tan egg that I thought I was told a brahma but it doesn't have feathered feet so not sure what that is. LOL

will grab pics of the last 3 later today and some of the whole gang.

I am on day 17 with my 6 eggs, candled, look fine.

Ok. I wasn't going to help the last one but while at work I peek at my camera and it managed to hatch its face but obviously with the way it was positioned it couldn't spin and zip. So my daughter helped it some until I got home and helped it more. It's neck is crooked, thinking/hoping the position it was stuck in the egg for so long? Hopefully it straightens out. I need to get a pic of the chick but I have a screenshot of how it was trying to hatch. Oh it pipped on the wrong end too.

I haven't been feeling good and laid down for a nap. I just had a dream that all my eggs where hatching (we are on day 15.5) and they were all popping out so fast (and dry too ) that I couldn't keep up. I hadn't taken out the turner, there was water flooding the inside (I haven't even put water in it yet) and the chicks were hopping out so fast I couldn't even catch them before they took off around the house....

It was a crazy crazy dream...but I guess we all know what's on my mind

I see some slight movement in the twin egg....

If I am correct, one has passed....but I am unsure...

I keep wondering if there is a way to hatch these guys early and still have them develope...
