What about Mosquitoes? I didn't even think about insects! Is it possible for small insects that are infected to transmit it to other birds as well?
Me nietherWhat about Mosquitoes? I didn't even think about insects!
Exactly, I would be concerned about anything that crawls on the birds.I was thinking flies, ticks, mosquitos, fleas and mites
Pretty sure it's not transmitted by mammals. And rodent pests like mice is another one.
I’m pretty sure they are still considered a risk factor.Pretty sure it's not transmitted by mammals.
I wouldn't be so sure. Correct, mammals can't get the virus, but if they have been somewhere exposed to the virus, (other coop, bird nest, water source, bird poop, etc) then they could theoretically carry the virus for a short period of time. People can spread it, why couldn't' insects, and mammals?Pretty sure it's not transmitted by mammals.
