Now what are they going to do, kill off all the dolphins like they have tried to do with all poultry? Sorry I am sick of this.

I would not trust UF for anything. Most likely another case of with, not of.https://ufhealth.org/news/2022/first-avian-influenza-detected-american-dolphin

Umm they said it had the virus and COULD have died from it...... not that it DID die from it....I would not trust UF for anything. Most likely another case of with, not of.
Sorry, didn't read past UF.. I have a deserved bias with them. And "could have" is planting the seed "did".Umm they said it had the virus and COULD have died from it...... not that it DID die from it....
Wait a minute. A marine mammal with avian influenza? What a case!Sorry, didn't read past UF.. I have a deserved bias with them. And "could have" is planting the seed "did".
Boy you guys just look for conspiracy.... I'm glad I don't live in your world view..... and people say I'm cynical, you all have me beat.Wait a minute. A marine mammal with avian influenza? What a case!
University of Florisa is probably a pawn in this story. The U.S. Department of Agriculture will bring in their Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service heavy hitters and the National Oceangraphic and Atmospheris Adminiestration, National Marine Fisheries Service will do the same. They will probably forn an inter-agency joint subcommittee to study it and discuss it ad nauseum. The feds get to control the process because they have the purse strings. UF will try to enhance their federal funding from the agencies and get something out of it for themselves.
It is sort of a sad thing though. Poor little porpose.

Wouldn't the converse be true as in the spring adults are returning to their breeding grounds? From what I've read, the autumn migration is less dangerous as the viral load is lessened as most birds are mature, as opposed to a lot of young birds in the spring migration?
not sure!Wouldn't the converse be true as in the spring adults are returning to their breeding grounds?
Nothing conspiratorial about it. Just the way it is. State and federal agencies take over and the WHO gets involved. UF will probably get a research grant.Boy you guys just look for conspiracy.... I'm glad I don't live in your world view..... and people say I'm cynical, you all have me beat.
