Delaware Rooster X Black Orpington hen = 100% barred offspring. No Sex-links.

Reversed: Black Orpington rooster X Delaware hen = Black Barred males, possible Silver leakage. (Headspot at hatch), & solid black females, possible silver leakage.


Well black Orpington X Brown Leghorn won't make Sex-links.


Delaware Rooster X Brown Leghorn = 100% Black Barred offspring with Silver or gold/red leakage. No Sex-links.

Brown Leghorn rooster X Delaware hen = White/yellowish white Male chicks at hatch, they will feather out Barred, their headspot would be hard to spot on their light down color.
Female chicks will hatch out Red/Orange, possibly with some striping.
