I found a local person on Kijiji and she has been very responsive - of course it could be a scam, but I'm fairly sure she's legit. I'm getting pullets as we were not prepared to get chicks!

I have had good luck with kijiji. Hope you do too!

And dont get into hatching eggs. It's worse!!! I ended up trying to hatch more than I ate last year...

We do already, technically, have a peacock coop - we turned down the peacock when we bought our house. I do realize, though, that this is a slippery slope!

It can be daunting at first. Some can never do it. I've learned to detach myself from the task, as I'm attempting to be more self-sufficient. It's never fun but it's a necessary thing. Still, I procrastinate on it more often than not.
