I make coffee a rather old fashioned and simple way, pouring boiling water over fine grains in a filter cone and an insulated jug; if you like it that way too, please help yourself

Same here, kinda....
...auto coffee maker died electronically, still works just fine to hold the cone filter and 12 'cup' pot.

I'm surprised how much her stomach tucked back up. She lost 11 pounds. Her diet is officially over.

Heathens!
I'm thinking about putting a dome of chicken wire over the planters so the plants can grow but the heathens will stay off. I just worry about one of them jumping up regardless and getting a foot stuck.

Brittany was actually trying to dust bathe in the left one. What a maroon!
