Plants could still grow thru and heathens couldn't scratch.

I'm thinking about putting a dome of chicken wire over the planters so the plants can grow but the heathens will stay off. I just worry about one of them jumping up regardless and getting a foot stuck.

Brittany was actually trying to dust bath in the left one. What a maroon!

What about a piece of screen instead of wire. It is softer and they wouldn't get caught in it.
