Sorta kinda iced coffee
I made coffee, went out on porch and took a few sips. Set coffee on table, went to coop, fed watered cleaned.
Came back to porch-coffee has ice in it. Poured it out-waste of good coffee and made a fresh cup.

Need an espresso jolt this a.m. as I've got a bit of storm prepping to do. DH and I discussed just how cold it'll be with the storm that's starting tonight. "8, feels like -20 with the wind chill" and so we're housing the chickens in the garage as frostbite is a given for them if left in the coop. So grateful not to have other livestock to deal with.

Being told that Interstates will be closed and icy and we have a non-snow warm day (Monday) between storms which will compound the situation. I think the fireplace is going to get A LOT of use the next couple of days.

Good morning! Too late for storm prep, it’s here! I’m not sure how much coffee it’s going to take to shovel my chickens out! Not that they’re going to be interested.

Morning Club brought a pot with me,, Anyone seen George. Hope all is well.
We have foot and half with blowing it is more but gettting like up to a foot today.. all will be gone by tuesday but great while it lasted got to have a snowball fight.

Morning Penny! Have not seen him. I need to put a ruler on the picnic table snow. It’s a lot but is light and fluffy right now so wasn’t hard to shovel out enough to get chicken gate open.
