I took a basic pottery class in high school wayyyyyyy back when. Loved it. I've thought about getting a block of clay and trying my expertise again but the cold hard truth is that I don't have a kiln nor access to one in order to fire anything.

4 years ago I found out I could have picked up a large kiln at an auction held by a fellow HAM operator's husband and wife....after the fact. Probably could have gotten it for a couple hundred if that. I still moan every time I think about that.

I get my stuff fired at class. I have a kiln, but it's so hot , i don't want to make it hotter in there.
