Still below freezing here, but spring is definitely coming! The sun started rising before 7 this morning. If I was on daylight savings during the winter it wouldn't be rising until after 9!

I started some seeds on Tuesday and they're already sprouting! I'm amazed. They were several years old and were frozen this winter (still in my old place, with no heat).

Question for gardeners: can corn be started indoors, or is it direct sow only?

You can start them indoors but I find the taller plant pots are best if you want to do that. I usually direct sew but you do what you have to!

Our growing season is a bit too short for corn, so I think I've got to. Probably going to try to at least get it into a hot tunnel.
