First egg today!!! :D

I have been so excited about this day for weeks!! And finally I found a tiny little egg about the size of the golf balls in the coop! I almost feel bad for my chicken cause I know it hurt, but boy am I still excited! Feeling like a successful chicken owner! One out of four chickens laid an egg, only three more to go Just thought I would share the excitement because I'm sure someone can relate and I am so happy!

I can totally relate. I feel so proud when a pullet lays her first egg. I even get excited after a winter laying break or molting laying break when we get our first eggs of the season.

It is egg-citing, to say the least. Every time I go to collect eggs, I always tell my girls, "thank you girls".
