first time outside!

I took the plunge and took our little chicks outside for the first time today! I figured since it was 82 and sunny, there was really no reason not to! Plus, I needed to clean the brooder. Here's a couple pictures of them enjoying their first outing!




They had so much fun that they had no interest in coming back in! It took them a while to actually get out of the cage... I finally just took the top off (it's a guinea pig cage) and then they were all out within a minute or two. They had a great time pecking the driveway for grit, eating ants and worms, and chasing each other around. It was lots of fun.
