Roosting is a little sad tonight without Elizabeth.
I think Elizabeth was the one that kept them together as a tribe. Everything was very calm today but they spent the whole day as two separate pairs.
Also, it turns out that four chickens is a lot less than five. It feels very empty in the Chicken Palace now.

Quick rundown

Sydney is definitely talking to them and I believe showing them what to eat

Phyllis is very interested in them and seemed to be talking as well

Aurora seems to just love chicks. She ran right over to them an hung out with them but she really did not interact with them like Sydney and Phyllis did.

Hattie checked them out but did not interact.

Lilly did not even check them out. She ignored them.

Sansa checked them out in one walk by but has otherwise ignored them

Phyllis Meets the Chicks

Phyllis was up when I took the chicks out yesterday and she got to meet them. She ran right over to see them. However Sydney has taken control of the area around them and ran Phyllis off.

This is really Sydney's show. As the video goes on you can hear her talking to the chicks and it appears she is showing them things to eat.

Amazing.

Alone Time

Phyllis did get some alone time with the Chicks without Sydney chasing her.

Your younger hens certainly seem very interested in the chicks.
