Getting up there: Need a couple of ID's

Couple of MCMurray 8 month olds that I'm not quite sure of:

The bird in front is BR, supposed to be a pullet. What do you think? Comb and wattles say roo but not the body shape, plus it is half again the size of the 2 others of same age. (Admittedly its been a while--like 63 yrs--since I last had a BR rooster.) For contrast one of its sisters is just to the left. If it is male it's the first mistake MCM has made in over the 200 chicks I've gotten from them in 30 yrs.

I believe that you have a Barred Rock cockerel and a Blue Andalusian cockerel.

The tail feathers on the BR looks to be male but I would think he would look more “cockerel-ish” at 8 months.

That kinda confirms what I thought but was hoping on the BR since that was the chick that I lost. Andalusian is new to me although the odd rooster never seems to last long.

Yes, I'm sorry but the barred rock is definitely a cockerel. Both of your boys are really gorgeous by the way
